Do you cover home, car or both?
Both. We're a full locksmith service: domestic (UPVC, lock changes, digital locks, post-burglary, master keys, garage), commercial (estate agents, landlords, councils, schools) and automotive (lockout, lost keys, ignition repair, key cutting, fob programming).
Is there a call-out charge?
No. We quote a fixed price for the whole job over the phone before we leave the workshop. That's the price you pay, regardless of how long it takes us. No surprise add-ons.
How fast can you get to me?
Our target is 30 minutes inside the Wakefield postcode area (WF1–WF17). For Huddersfield (HD), Barnsley (S70–S75) and the rest of West/South Yorkshire we target one hour.
Are you insurance approved?
Yes — post-burglary lock replacement and door repair is done to insurance-approved standards. We provide receipts and certificates of work for your insurer.
Will you damage my door or car?
No. We use specialist non-destructive tools — LISHI sets for vehicles, lock-pick sets and dedicated UPVC tools for homes. If we can't open it without damage, we don't charge.
Do you work at night and on bank holidays?
Yes. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The same locksmith answers the phone at 3am as at 3pm. Out-of-hours rates are not loaded.
Card or cash?
All major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Cash is fine too. Payment after the job is done, never before.
