Fifty pages of midwinter, waiting for your colour.

Inside you will find a robin on a snowy branch and a reindeer in falling snow, a log cabin in the pines and a sleigh ride through the woods, a Christmas market, a fireside with stockings on the mantel, botanical plates of holly and poinsettia, and ornamental mandalas built from snowflakes, baubles and stars.
These are grayscale designs, and that is what makes them different. The shading is already done. You lay your colour over the top and the greys underneath do the hard work, so a finished page looks rich and dimensional with far less effort than flat line art.
Fifty detailed designs, every one different: creatures, characters, scenes, objects, botanical plates and mandalas, so no two pages in a row feel alike.
Single-sided printing with a blank page behind every design, so colour can never bleed through. A colour test page at the front has a printed grey band in every swatch box, so you can see exactly how each pencil behaves over the shading. Large 8.5 x 11 in pages with generous margins and no solid black areas.
Great for the long quiet evenings of December, a stocking filler for a colourist, and anyone who wants somewhere calm to put their hands down for an hour. There is no right way and no finishing line.
